Just made the Official Achieve Fitness Today Youtube Channel. This is where I will be posting example workouts, tips, philosophies. and fitness challenges. Not only will you find simple workouts on my new channel , but other fitness related videos such as Martial Arts ,Combative Training and  Parkour Tutorials. I believe when you get into fitness one needs to explore all your options to get your body and mind into an elite state of being. To me this lifestyle is an expression of my inner self. So one one needs to ask , how do you want to achieve your fitness today?


My new channel is still under development as I am constantly finding new things to add to it. Not all the videos on my channel are made by me but rather a collections of my favorite video tutorials. These are tutorial videos that I believe would give very good training information for all my subscribers. Such as my Wing Chun Playlist by Jin Young aka "chinaboxer". Jin gives awesome tutorials on the forms,movements,concepts and drills of Wing Chun. The way he teaches is a way that you can apply these principles into any style of martial arts. For those who didn't know, Wing Chun was the style of Martial Arts that Bruce Lee first learned and was the backbone of the style he created, Jeet Kune Do.

Wing Chun and other Martial Arts are a great way to stay in shape. It keeps both your body and mind disciplined and focused.

What is Parkour?
Parkour is a type of freerunning. It use's a simple philosophy of getting from point A to point B by using the shortest route. In September 2009, American Parkour began a community effort to define parkour. They invited the entire community to post their personal definition of parkour. It was edited into the final version by a committee of American Parkour employees and people outside of American Parkour to ensure that it was truly a community effort.

Their result:
-Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within your path by adapting your movements to the environment.
-Parkour requires consistent, disciplined training with an emphasis on functional strength, physical conditioning, balance, creativity, fluidity, control, precision, spatial awareness, and looking beyond the traditional use of objects.
-Parkour movements typically include... running, jumping, vaulting, climbing, balancing, and quadrupedal movement. Movements from other physical disciplines are often incorporated, but acrobatics or tricking alone do not constitute parkour.
-Parkour training focuses on... safety, longevity, personal responsibility, and self-improvement. It discourages reckless behavior, showing off, and dangerous stunts.
-Parkour practitioners value... community, humility, positive collaboration, sharing of knowledge, and the importance of play in human life, while demonstrating respect for all people, places, and spaces.

Parkour is a very intense workout and requires a lot of stamina, strength and conditioningof the body and the mind. If you really want to step your fitness program up, then I recommend you practice Parkour.
